Role overview
This is an eight-month Winter 2027 student placement focused on production enterprise data applications.
The role combines full-stack software development, backend data processing, interactive interfaces, and AI/ML integration.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack web applications using Dash and Python.
- Develop Python services with Pandas for transformations, pipelines, and business logic.
- Create responsive interfaces that help stakeholders interact with data.
- Write tested and documented code using software engineering best practices.
- Implement version control, code reviews, and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate AI/ML models into production web applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to refine requirements and deliver features.
Required qualifications
- Currently enrolled in the third year or later of a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program at a Canadian university.
- At least eight months of completed co-op or internship experience in software, web development, or data engineering.
- Strong Python proficiency and production application development experience.
- Advanced Pandas experience.
- Understanding of web application architecture, SQL, and relational databases.
