Opportunity

RBC is seeking a four-month Winter 2027 AI Business Analyst Intern within Group Risk Management.

The role advances Operational Risk AI capabilities through business analysis, use-case documentation, and collaboration with AI and technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Operational Risk subject matter experts to understand AI needs and ensure requirements are met.
  • Document AI use cases through intake, scoping, and detailed requirements across the AI development lifecycle.
  • Experiment with large language models to identify AI opportunities and establish best practices.
  • Support AI adoption as a change champion within the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Leadership acumen and passion to apply leadership in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong artificial intelligence experience with demonstrable prompt engineering experience.
  • Experience creating and running Python scripts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Creative and analytical thinking with self-direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Applicants must return to school after the April 2027 work term or require the full term to graduate.

Workplace Information

  • RBC supports flexible work arrangements when available.
  • The successful candidate must be located in Ontario for the duration of the work term.

Term Details

  • This is a four-month Winter 2027 student placement running from January 2027 through April 2027.
