Opportunity Overview
This is a four-month Winter 2027 student placement for an AI Business Analyst Intern in Group Risk Management.
The intern will support Operational Risk subject matter experts with AI use-case identification, requirements, and delivery support.
The work term is scheduled from January 2027 through April 2027.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Operational Risk subject matter experts to understand AI needs and ensure requirements are met.
- Document AI use cases through intake, scoping, and detailed requirements stages of the AI development lifecycle.
- Experiment with readily available large language models to develop expertise in AI opportunities and best practices.
- Partner with AI and technology development teams to support delivery of AI use cases.
- Act as a change champion to support AI adoption within the business.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong experience using artificial intelligence, including demonstrable prompt engineering experience.
- Experience creating and running Python scripts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Leadership acumen, creativity, analytical thinking, self-direction, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Student Eligibility
- Candidates must return to school after the April 2027 work term or require the full four-month term as a mandatory graduation component.
- The successful candidate must be located within Ontario for the duration of the work term.
Work Arrangement
- Specific virtual, hybrid, and in-office arrangements will be discussed with the Hiring Manager.
