Internship Overview
Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Engineers for an internship in its Space Systems Sector in Gilbert, Arizona.
The selected intern will join the Western Region Systems Engineering directorate.
Work Details
- Travel is expected at approximately 10% of the time.
- Relocation assistance may be available.
- No clearance is required to start, but the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
Responsibilities
- Perform systems analyses across concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis.
- Convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that account for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.
- Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
