Program Overview
SpiderRock Platform Services provides routing, trading workflow, and risk management solutions for financial market clients.
The company is seeking 2027 summer interns for a range of possible roles across technology, analytics, marketing, support, and operations.
Interns will work on projects that may be deployed during the internship.
Potential Internship Roles
Potential roles include Software Engineer Intern, Data Analyst Intern, Marketing Intern, QA Intern, DevOps Intern, IT/Network Intern, Client Support Analyst Intern, and People Operations/Operations Intern.
Program Activities
- Complete assigned projects while learning and collaborating with different teams.
- Collaborate with lead developers, client service analysts, major stakeholders, and business operations.
- Participate in daily meetings and learn project methodology concepts and implementation.
- Attend SpiderVersity sessions covering financial markets, programming, products, business areas, and professional skills.
- Participate in industry field trips, including visits to the CBOE and Federal Reserve.
- Receive support from an assigned mentor and buddy.
What SpiderRock Is Looking For
- Current college student pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, business, or an equivalent field.
- Strong problem-solving instincts, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
- Professional, motivated, detail-oriented, diligent, and eager to learn and improve.
- Knowledge of C#, Python, or SQL and financial markets knowledge are advantageous.
Program Schedule
- The summer internship program lasts 10 weeks.
