Position Overview
Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Systems Engineers and Systems Engineers for its Space sector in Gilbert, Arizona.
The selected candidate will join the Western Region Systems Engineering directorate.
The posting describes entry-level opportunities supporting space systems and government, civil, and commercial customers.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
- Analyze systems across concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Convert customer or product requirements into solutions that address technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform functional and timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.
- Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Associate Systems Engineer Qualifications
- Completing or completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Majoring or majored in a STEM-related degree.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.
